About

I chose accounting because I wanted to understand how cash moves through a business.

Working at my family’s deli made that interest tangible: checking the till, keeping records and coordinating inventory connected the numbers to everyday decisions. At York, studying Canadian income taxation has given me an area I want to explore further.

I’m Hyeonjun, also known as Peter. My background spans a family business, customer service and the Republic of Korea Navy. Across those settings, I’ve learned to be careful with information, communicate clearly and follow through on shared responsibilities. I hope to bring those habits to an accounting and tax team as I work toward the Canadian CPA designation.
